Karlos was born on August 03, 1980 to Richard Yazzie and the late Marilynn Tapahoso. Karlos was born and spent his childhood in Shiprock N.M; later moving to Lawrence, Kansas.
Karlos attended college at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas. There he met and later married the love of his life, Erica Ethelbah. He had 3 beautiful daughters and then moved to Phoenix.
He worked as a mechanic and attended AAI in Glendale, Arizona. He loved to work on vehicles. Karlos was a Christian; he loved his friends and family and loved to joke.

He was also an in law to the Lupe, Tessler, Cruz and Aday families of East Fork and Ethelbah family of Whiteriver. A wake will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10:00 am at the North Fork Miracle Church in Whiteriver, AZ.
The funeral will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:00 am at the North Fork Miracle Church in Whiteriver, AZ with Pastor Lex Baha officiating. Interment will be at the Dove Street Cemetery in East Fork.
