Kathryn’s Obituary Kathryn (Umstead) Samarco, 63, of Telford, formerly of Sellersville and Perkasie passed away on May 16th, 2019 at her residence. Kathy was born in Lansdale, PA to the late John Umstead and Ethel (Reagan) Umstead. She was a former employee of Genuardi’s, West Pointe and Spring House, retiring in 2015.

Kathy enjoyed TV, watching movies and collecting Harry Potter memorabilia. She loved her many dogs and recently lost her favorite chocolate lab, “Coco”. In addition to her mother, Ethel, she is survived by her two sons, Christopher W. Samarco and his wife Jessica of Quakertown, and Ryan J. Samarco of Telford, PA; two grandchildren, Trevor and Madison; her brother, Dennis Umstead and his wife Stephanie of Coopersburg, and her sister, Peggi Donahue and her husband Chris Covaleski of Souderton.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Umstead and her step father, James Donahue. A time of fellowship will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory; 130 East Broad Street, Souderton, PA 18964.
