KATTIE BROWN DUNCAN, age 71, of 1269 North Main Street, Lot 19, Roxboro, NC died Thursday night, October 11, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Duncan was born August 20, 1947 in Person County, NC daughter of the late Thurman Long Brown & Sarah Adline Duncan Brown and was wife of 55 years to James Joe Duncan who survives. She was retired from Murdoch Developmental Center and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Bradley Lee Duncan, Sr. & wife, Brenda, Kevin James Duncan & wife, Clara, two sisters, Teena Gentry & husband, Wayne, Myrtle Morris, two grandchildren, Bradley Lee Duncan, Jr., Christina Duncan all of Roxboro, NC, six great grandchildren and a niece, Ashley Gentry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Duncan is preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Wayne Duncan and brother-in-law, Kent Morris. Celebration of life services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev.
