BILLY MICHAEL CLAYTON age 56, of 1959 Woodsdale Davis Road, Roxboro, NC died Friday morning, October 5, 2018 at Person Memorial Hospital. Mr. Clayton was born January 29, 1962 in Person County, NC son of Billy Thurman Clayton and the late Eunice Brooks Clayton and was husband of 19 years to Patricia Danielle Painter Clayton who survives. He previously worked as a boilermaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife and father a son, Shaun Michael Clayton of Liberty, NC, daughter, Tori Danielle Clayton, granddaughter, River Jay Poole, two brothers, Larry Clayton & wife, Marissa of Apex, NC, Barry Clayton of Roxboro, NC, and sister, Becky Lea & fiancée, Ronnie Bissett of Roxboro, NC. In addition to his mother, Mr. Clayton is preceded in death by a nephew, Jeffrey Wayne Clayton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2018 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev.

Herbert Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends and guests from 1:00 till 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Barts, Wendell Barts, James Milam, Terry Painter, Holden Poole, and Tommy Taylor. Arrangements are by Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services, 1810 Durham, Road, Roxboro, NC 27573. Online condolences may be made at stricklandandjonesfs.com.
