Kelly (Jutila) Davenport passed away in her sleep of natural causes on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the age of 27. Kelly was born October 12, 1990 to Terry and Rita Jutila in Marquette. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School in 2008 and attended Grand Valley State University.

After graduating from GVSU with her RN degree, Kelly began her nursing career working at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. On September 27, 2014, Kelly married her soul mate, Keith Davenport. … Read More » Shortly afterwards, they moved to Bozeman, Montana, where Kelly first worked as an RN in Livingston, MT and then in her current position at Bozeman Health.

Kelly was currently working on obtaining her Nurse Practitioner degree. Kelly and Keith (the K Squad) truly enjoyed their life together. They spent many happy times playing board and card games, discovering their love of cooking together, exploring, hiking and camping with their dogs in the beautiful Montana country.

Kelly and Keith also loved to travel and together had several memorable vacations. Kelly is survived by her husband of almost 4 years, Keith Davenport; parents, Rita and Terry Jutila of Marquette; sister, Traci (Matt) Walters of Traverse City, MI; parents-in-law, Ken & Maura Davenport of Marquette; brother-in-law, Kyle (Charity) Davenport of Green Bay, WI; sister’s-in-law, Maura (Justin Edge) of Ennis, MT and Kelsey (Dennis Fischer) of Washington, DC; five nieces and nephews, Lucas and Kinsley Martin, Emmylou and Alex Edge and Theodore Davenport; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Kelly was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cecil and Doris Taylor and her paternal grandparents, Roberts and Eleanor Jutila, all of Newberry, MI.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 12 Noon at the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home with Rev. Gregory Heikkala officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 am until the time of the service.

A luncheon will immediately follow the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Kelly’s family ask that donations be made in Kelly’s name to Worldbuilders General Fund at Worldbuilders, PO Box 186, Stevens Point, WI 54481 or worldbuilders.org Kelly’s obituary may also be viewed at canalefuneral.com where memories may be shared.
