Funeral services for Kenneth Ivy, age 80 of Hideaway, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, TX with Pastor Gene Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Whitehouse Cemetery in Whitehouse, TX. Kenneth passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his residence in Hideaway.

He was born January 2, 1939 in Tyler, TX to the late Raymond Frank and Beatrice (Musick) Ivy. Kenneth has lived in Hideaway for the past 34 years and was retired after 30 years of service with Hood Packaging in Tyler. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his travels to Colorado, and attending his kids and grandkids sporting events.

Kenneth is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Ivy and a sister, Deloris January. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Ivy of Hideaway; son, Keith Ivy and wife, Mandi of Chapel Hill; daughters, Sheila Tompkins and husband, Dale of Chandler and Debbie Harris of Hurst; sister, Diane Livingston of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Chris Bishop of Ft. Worth, Mark Bishop of Tyler, Taylor Harris of Hurst, Ashley Tompkins of Texas City, Emily Ivy of Chapel Hill, Sam Ivy of Chapel Hill; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Keith Ivy, Sam Ivy, Mark Bishop, Chris Bishop, Dale Tompkins, and Darwin Wright. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
