KENNY “CHATTERBOX”’s Obituary Kenny “Chatterbox” Overton, 78, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Methodist Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired truck driver having worked at Wathen Transport and Gibbs Die Casting and after retirement enjoyed many summers working on farms. He was also a lifetime member of Henderson Moose Lodge and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father, Silas M. Overton. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Judy Vanover Overton; three children, Julie Overton Holland of Mountain City, Georgia, Hayley Overton Mullins and her husband, Barry, of Beavercreek, Ohio, and John Kenneth Overton of Louisville, Kentucky; his mother, Irene Overton of Henderson, Kentucky; three sisters, Janice Brown, Judy Pfeffer, and Vicki Overton, all of Henderson, Kentucky; two brothers, Jerry Overton of White, Georgia, and Wayne Overton of Louisville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, John Wesley Holland, Caitlyn Mullins, Rebecca Mullins, and Stephanie Mullins; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.

The Reverend Nathan Whisnant will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Airline Baptist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.
