Kenton B. Heslink August 28, 1944 – February 16, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Kenton B. Heslink, 74, of Ravlin Hill Rd. , Panama, Ny. , died on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at UPMC Chautauqua.
He was born August 28, 1944 in Corry, Pa. , a son of Ivan Heslink of Clymer, N.Y., and the late Dorris Kolstee Heslink. Kenton was raised and educated in Clymer and graduated from Clymer Central High School in 1962.
Kent farmed on the family dairy farm in Clymer, and also drove school bus for the Clymer school district. He retired from busing and farming in 1985. Kent then drove truck for the John Deere Dealership Gallup and TenHaken in Clymer, Ny.
, and drove for them for 25 years retiring 2010. After retirement, Kent worked part time for Heil Transportation, Neckers Farm and for his son farming hay. He was a member of the Clymer United Methodist Church and former trustee.
Kenton enjoyed wintering in Englewood, Florida, maintaining his 520 John Deere tractor that his father bought new. Most important to Kent, was spending time with his family. In addition to his mother, Kenton was preceded in death by a grandson, Carter Heslink.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Diane Heslink, whom he married on October 6, 1962 in Clymer, N.Y.; three sons, Steven Heslink and his wife Rhonda, Stacey Heslink and his wife Louann, and Christopher Heslink; two brothers, Dennis Heslink and his wife Janet and Dr. Paul Heslink and his wife Linda, all of Clymer, N.Y. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Nickolas (Anne), Amanda, Samantha (Corey), Thomas (Jen), Tyler, Maddison, Rebecca, Olivia and Ericka, 4 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Marissa, Logan and Jayden, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the Clymer United Methodist Church, 565 Clymer-Sherman Rd.
, on Tuesday from 4 to7pm. A funeral service will be held there on Wednesday at 11am. Rev.
