Bonna L. “Bonnie” Peebles February 08, 1927 – February 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Bonna L. “Bonnie” Peebles, 91, formerly of Wayne St., Corry, Pa. , died Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the Rouse Home, Youngsville, Pa. She was born February 8, 1927 in Cleveland, Oh.

, a daughter of the late James and Anna Pichler West. Bonnie moved to Wesleyville, Pa. , as a small child where she was raised and educated.

Following graduation from Harborcreek High School, she moved to Burbank, Ca. , where she worked for a few years before returning to Wesleyville and worked at Reed Manufacturing. In the late 1940’s, she moved to Corry.

Over the years she worked in the offices at Cherry Hill Furniture Company in Union City and at Blair Manufacturing in Warren, Pa. Bonnie also worked at Raymond Manufacturing( Associated Spring-Barnes Group) in Corry. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Corry and the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

She was an avid golfer and member of the Wednesday Ladies League at North Hills Golf Course. Bonnie like playing cards and enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the United States and also in England and Scotland while visiting their granddaughter. Bonnie was preceded in death October 26, 2015 by her husband, Richard L. “Dick” Peebles, whom she married July 30, 1949 in Portland, N.Y.; also by her grandson, Brandon Koestner in October of 2007.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Sheridan “Pebby” Mick and her husband Bruce of Corry, Pa. , and a granddaughter, Shonda DesJardin of Hudson, Co. A private graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Pa. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 201 E. South St., Corry, PA.
