Obituary of Kevin Coll Kevin Coll was born October 28, 1952 in Bronx, New York and passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2018 at his residence in Ghent, New York. After his family moved to Garnerville, New York in 1958, he attended St. Peter’s School until 8th grade before graduating from North Rockland High School in 1971. Kevin enjoyed growing up in Garnerville with his siblings, cousins, and friends.

He especially enjoyed playing sports in the the neighborhood and swimming in the creek at the “Rec Center”. He is predeceased by his father Edward Coll and mother Nancy Coll. He is survived by his sister Maureen Maze and her husband Chuck, brother Edward Coll and his wife Julia, sister Kathleen Erbacher and her husband Richard, and brother Timothy Coll and his wife Laura.

He is also survived by his dearly-loved nieces and nephews: Daniel Maze, Elizabeth Maze, Megan Erbacher, Matthew Erbacher, Andrew Coll, James Coll, Aidan Coll, Lt. Timothy Coll, and Patrick Coll. Kevin was an avid sports fan and had an amazing memory for baseball statistics and sports history.

He enjoyed doing his crossword puzzles and watching movies. After working many years with the US Postal Service, he worked at a local animal hospital where he cared for all animals. Later, Kevin enjoyed visiting a cat sanctuary in Hudson New York where he volunteered his time however he could.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations can be made his memory to his favorite organization AnimalKind, 721 Warren Street, Hudson, New York, www. animalkindny.org Visitation will take place on Monday, November 19th at 11:00 am at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home 728 West Nyack Road, West Nyack New York 10994. Burial to follow at 1:00 pm at Rockland Cemetery, Kings Highway, Sparkill, NY.
