Obituary for Larry L. Paquette Larry L. Paquette, 73, of Iron Mountain, passed away on May 19, 2018 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, WI. Larry was born on October 25, 1944 in Iron Mountain, son of the late Melvin and Bernice (Walquist) Paquette. He has been a resident of this area for most of his life and was a 1962 graduate of Kingsford High School.

Larry worked for several local companies and retired as the Inventory Control Manager for Cable Constructors Inc. retiring in 2007. He married Connie Cologna on April 27, 1968 in Norway. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Larry had been a member of the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Jaycee’s and the Iron Mountain Elks Lodge. He was active for many years in local stock car racing and enjoyed golfing, hunting and spending time at the family camp. Larry was an avid Green Bay Packer football fan In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jonathan Paquette.

Larry is survived by his wife, Connie; his children, Keith (Renee) Paquette of Iron Mountain, Tim (Helen) Paquette of Kingsford and Kevin (Karen) Paquette of Woodbury, MN; a brother, Ron (Renee) Paquette of Kingsford; grandchildren, Amanda (Sage) Brown of Lansing, MI, Nicholas (Emily Hilliker) Paquette of Whitmore Lake, MI and Jared Paquette of Kingsford; a nephew, Ron E. Paquette Jr. of Kingsford; Godmother, Lorraine Luba and a special friend and brother in law, Ed Langin of Norway. Visitation will be on Friday, May 25th from 10:00-11:00am at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain. Memorial services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home.

Father Joseph Gouin is officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his memory. Condolences to the family of Larry Paquette may be expressed online at www.
