Laverna Helen Nelson “Granny”, age 91 of Bowling Green, passed away June 12th, 2018. She was born November 25, 1926 in Graceville, MN. She was a homemaker, a member of Hillvue Heights Church and loved the Lord.

In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arvel Murray Nelson; son, Allen Murray Nelson and granddaughter, Melissa Marie Anderson. She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Alley-Roper and Becky Anderson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as family from Minnesota. A private family memorial will be scheduled for a later date in Ventura California.

There will not be any local services. J.C. Kirby and Son, Lovers Lane Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
