CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Lillian Ella Riley Fraley, 86, widow of S. A. Fraley, Jr. died peacefully at home on Monday, March 11, 2019. She was the fifth child of the late Roy Akard Riley and Ina Belle Smith Riley of Bluff City, Tennessee. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Riley; and two sisters, Cleo Thompson and Mabel King.

She was a member of Brick Baptist Church where she was the pianist for many years. She worked along side S. A. on the family farm for their entire lives. In addition to her legacy of faith and family, she leaves these family members, two daughters, Debbie Belisle and husband, Jerry of Abingdon, Virginia and Gail Gladson and husband, Charles of Castlewood, Virginia; two granddaughters, Sarah Rysewyk and husband, Phil and Rebecca Brewer and husband, Joey; two grandsons, David Gladson and wife, Nina and John Gladson and wife, Lara; five great grandchildren, Clay Brewer, Emily Brewer, Casey Ann Rysewyk, Ella Mae Rysewyk, and Cora Gail Gladson; one sister, Evelyn Proffitt of Johnson City, Tennessee; and one brother, Herbert Riley and wife, Imogene of Bluff City, Tennessee.

Funeral Services for Lillian Ella Riley Fraley will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Jim Anderson officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.

Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Paul Elam, Pete Bush, John Bush, Greg McReynolds, David Gladson, John Gladson, Phil Rysewyk, and Joey Brewer. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.

The family would like to extend heart-felt thanks to our wonderful caregivers: Daryl, Janice, Stacy, and Toni. We are also grateful for the service of Amedysis Home Health Staff and Caris Healthcare. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brick Church, c/o Patsy Bush, 1787 Brick Church Circle, Castlewood, Virginia 24224.
