Obituary for Linda “Joanie” Joan Blevins Linda “Joanie” Joan Blevins of Ironton, Mo passed away at home on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the age of 66 years, 9 months, and 8 days. She was born on Sunday, October 7, 1951, a daughter of Ira and Georgia Bone Wadlow who precede her in rest. On October 23, 1969 Joanie was united in marriage to Elijah Blevins who survives.

To this union two sons were born who survive; Matthew Keith Blevins and companion Chrissy Dean and Adrian and wife Suzanne Blevins. Also surviving is one brother, Tim and wife Lori Wadlow, four sisters; Jeannie Barton and companion Roger Helms, Kay Mauzy, Tarrie and husband Dave Myers, Vicki and husband Darrell Harper, four grandchildren; Ali, Ian, Alexis, and Emily Blevins, and many other loving family and friends. Preceding Joanie in death are three brothers; Ronnie Wadlow, Clyde Wadlow, and Russell Wadlow, two sisters; Ruby Nash and Barb Browers, and a granddaughter Adrienne Blevins.

Joanie graduated from Ironton High School and for many years she worked as a manager for the Sun Loan Company and was a long-time member of the Arcadia Valley Eagles Lodge. Joanie held a love for her family that had no boundaries and could be felt throughout the community. Her life and love will be cherished for many years to come.

A Celebration of Life for Joanie will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Cole Family Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Elder Mark Sutton will be officiating the Funeral services.
