Linda M. Hathaway Ogden – Linda Mower Hathaway passed away peacefully, on July 7, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born August 27, 1943 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Dale Lorin Mower and Rosella R. Barnett Mower. She was a graduate of Ben Lomond H.S., class of 1961.

Linda was a member of the LDS Church and she loved working with the special needs mutual for 8 years. She was also a stake missionary. She was married to Michael Edward Scoleri in 1964; later divorced.

She married Lewis L. Hathaway on October 10, 1974 in Ogden and they were later sealed in the Ogden Temple. Linda retired after 33 years from HAFB and then went back to HAFB as a contractor for over 16 years. She was a very soft-spoken woman but when she spoke you listened.

She enjoyed cross-stitching, quilting, crocheting, name extraction and enjoyed her family and getting together with them. Linda is survived by her husband Lewis; her children Devin B. Hathaway (Joanna), Jon Scoleri (Alicia), Korey Hathaway (Michelle), Lark Martinez, Dan Hathaway (Briana); 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; Dixie Horspool who was her sister and best friend and Darlene a lifelong friend since age 11. She was preceded in death by her parents; two babies Tracy Lee and Mark Lorin Scoleri and two grandsons Tregory Martinez and James Patrick Scoleri.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. where visitations will be held on Wednesday, July 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
