Lisa Mae’s Obituary Lisa Mae Holzwarth, a happy, loving child of God and unwavering faith, was welcomed home by Jesus, on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. She was very proud of her boys, Edward J. Brown, Christopher E. Brown, and Michael J. Brown. Lisa married the love of her life, Brian T. Holzwarth and he often titled himself “Her Favorite Husband”.

They were married in 2002 and simply loved “doing life” together. Lisa was a devoted, Certified Neurological Registered Nurse at Lehigh Valley, Cedar Crest hospital where she met her best friend, Susana Garcia Whitewood. Lisa and Susana were soulmates “who shared a brain cell”, finished each other’s sentences, understood each other without talking.

They shared laughter, sadness and did everything together. “Best friends forever, nothing shall ever separate us”. Lisa loved her family: Celine Nauman, mother; Daniel Eichhorn, brother; Marie Monday, sister; Jimmie Eichhorn, brother (deceased); Bill Eichhorn, brother; Beth Ann Stallone, sister; Elsie Putnam, sister; Monica Eichhorn, sister-in-law.

Lisa found peace knowing she would be re-united with loved ones who went before her: her brother, Jimmie Eichhorn; her Nana, Mary Hydro and her childhood friend, Gwen Stemple. Lisa’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church, 915 N 5th St, Stroudsburg, PA where she was a long-time member. Visitations are Monday 2:00-4:00, 6:00-8:00 and on Tuesday, from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. The funeral service funeral service begins Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Lisa asked for donations for a Nursing scholarship in lieu of flowers.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to the family and friends that have been by her and our family’s side.
