Obituary for Lisa Ruble (Moser) Lisa M. Ruble, 50, of McClure, passed away at 11:28 p.m. on Monday June 25, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center-Danville. Born August 3, 1967 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Gloria (Wagner) Moser Kurtz and husband Paul W. Kurtz, and the late Charles H. Moser. Lisa will be remembered and missed by her loving husband, Charles W. Ruble, whom she married on May 12, 1995, her children, Tasha Deavor and husband Stanley of McVeytown, Clay Ruble and wife Brittany of Lewistown, and Cheyenne Ruble of McClure, Siblings, Lorann Green and husband Royal of W.V., Shelly Keller and husband Matt of North Carolina, Paul Kurtz and wife Danielle, and Sherrie Swigart and husband Tom, Grandchildren, Tucker Deavor, Clay Ruble, Jr., Mckenna Ruble, William Ruble, and Rosalyn Ruble, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Earlier in life, Lisa worked at Scotty’s Fashions as a seamstress. She loved elephants, so much in fact, that she collected them. Lisa loved being involved with her husband’s slow pitch softball teams, cooking and spending time with her family.
A funeral service in loving memory of Lisa will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday June 29, 2018 at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown, with Rev. John Walters officiating. There will be a viewing held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be private in Mount Rock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lisa’s memory are respectfully encouraged to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave. , Ste 101 Harrisburg PA 17110.
