Lois’ Obituary Danville – Lois A Green, 89, of Danville, passed away at 11:52 pm Monday, January 21, 2019 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. Lois was born on April 26, 1929 in Danville, IL the daughter of Robert and Pauline Vliet Jaynes. She married Charles Green on February 19, 1949 in Danville, IL.

He preceded her in death on March 8, 2001. Survivors include: 1 son, Craig (Janet) Green of Danville; 1 brother, Paul (Arlene) Jaynes of Danville; 1 sister, Donna (Rich) Anderson of Danville; 2 granchildren, Valerie (Jeff) Stal of Georgetown and Chad (Stephanie) Green of Danville; 4 great grandchildren, Annelise Garrison, Taylor Stal, Hayden Stal, and Colton Green; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter Teresa Ann, and 1 sister, Dorothy VanVickle.

Lois was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Danville. She had worked at the county clerks office and at Arnholt Bakery in Danville. Lois enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, and cleaning.

Funeral service 10 am Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Robison Chapel in Catlin with Fr. Bowan Schmitt officiating. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery in Danville.

Visitation 5-7 pm Friday, January 25, 2019 at Robison Chapel with a rosary at 4:30 pm. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Danville. On-line condolences at www.
