Lois Joyce Ciaburri, of Middletown and Higganum passed away peacefully July 19, 2018 in Wadsworth Glen. She is the beloved wife of Andrew Ciaburri. Born in New Haven, February 23, 1934 daughter of the late Andrew and Elvira Tramontano Cimino, Lois was a graduate of Hillhouse High School and worked as a lab technician for the Hospital of St. Raphael for many years.

She is the beloved mother of Andrea Herlth and her husband John, who was a true son to her, with whom she resided. Proud and loving grandmother of Korrine “Korey” Herlth. Sister of Eleanor Zingarella, and the late Gloria Johnson, Annabelle Bengivengo, and Pat Cimino Sr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her family caregiver and friend Susan Young.

Lois’ family would like to thank her caregivers at Wadsworth Glen for the compassionate care they provided, especially Carla, Fruita, Peter, Crystal, Dorothy, Peggy, Leslie, Brendan, Kendra, Debbie, Jess, and Mark. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday morning at 10 in St. Colman Church 145 Hubbard St. in Middlefield. Burial will be private.

The Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. is in care of the arrangements.
