Lottie Lester Estes, 88, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. She was born in Henry County on April 11, 1930 to the late Lowry Lawson Lester, Sr. and Mamie Frances Draper Lester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Beverly Marion Estes; sisters, Vaulene Lester Harris, Ines Lester Montel, Virginia Joy Lester Saunders Phillips, and Golden Lester Slawson; and brothers, Victor Arlington Lester, Lawson Jackson Lester, and Ralph Clayton Lester.

She graduated from Martinsville High School and worked for over 45 years at Hooker Furniture where she retired as Supervisor of the Order Department. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Estes Crouch and husband John Richard Crouch of Montgomery, AL; two grandchildren, Mary Katherine Crouch of Richmond, VA and Christopher David Crouch and wife Christy, and two great-grandchildren, Weston Carter Crouch and Collins Ali Crouch all of Tallahassee, FL.

Also surviving are ten nieces and ten nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with the Rev. John Fulcher officiating.

Burial will private. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Martinsville-Henry County, 132 Joseph Martin Hwy, Martinsville, VA 24112. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory of Martinsville, VA is serving the Estes family.
