Lulu Belle Holland, 75, of Macomb passed away at 2:11 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. She was born on March 3, 1943 in Macomb to Russell L. and Elizabeth F. Peterson Willey. She married Robert William Bailey.

She then married Thomas Jackson Frost and then married Golden Donald Holland, Jr He passed away in 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons in infancy; two sisters and one brother in infancy.

She is survived by her children, Jerry (Angela Claibourn) Bailey of Macomb, Kevin Bailey I of Bloomington, Risa (Kenneth) Diehl of Macomb and David (Lori) Frost of Colchester; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 brothers, Russell Willey, Lee Willey and Roger (Darla) Willey. Born and raised in Macomb, she was a graduate of Macomb High School in 1961. She lived in various places in Illinois before moving back to Macomb in 1976.

She had worked as a nurse’s aide and worked for Eureka Company making bomb casings during the Vietnam War. She attended the Bethel Baptist Church south of Fandon. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Richardson officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial of ashes will be in Rushville City Cemetery following the service.

Family requests casual dress with either cat or kitten shirts or butterfly shirts and blue pants. Memorials may be made to the Lulu Belle Holland Memorial Fund. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
