Obituary of Margaret “Peggy” Tursi Margaret “Peggy” (Baer) Tursi, 67, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018. She was the wife of Joseph Tursi with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 21, 1951, Peggy was the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret (Closkey) Baer.

Peggy’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Jennifer Tursi, Reading, PA; Stephanie McCausland, wife of Daniel, Southern California; Peggy Ruoss, wife of Brian, Gilbertsville, PA; and Jill Nelson, wife of Brett, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Carley Schlacter, Brian Ruoss, Jr., Tyler Nelson, Carter Nelson, Austin McCausland, Kylie Ruoss, and Connor “CJ” McCausland. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by one grandson, Christian McCausland.

A viewing will take place on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473. Interment will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Rd.
