Obituary for Marion Francis Lloyd Pitts On July 7th, 2018, at the age of 83, Marion Pitts passed from this earthly life to her heavenly home. She passed peacefully at South Central Regional Medical Center in the presence of her family. She was born in Mobile, Alabama on May 19, 1935 to Minnie Gentry and George Lloyd.

After meeting and marrying Johnny Pitts from Wayne County, MS, the two moved to laurel, MS where she was a lifetime resident. She enjoyed gardening and collecting antiques. She was a member of Salem Heights Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Pitts, son Darrell Pitts, her mother Minnie Gentry, father George Lloyd and brother Ronnie Lloyd. She is survived by her son Daron Pitts (Becky) of Laurel, daughter-in-law Vicki Pitts of Madison, grandchildren, Monica Donald (Josh) of Ellisville, Sarah Lloyd (Chris) of Alpharetta, GA, Heather Vollono (James) of Miami, FL and Josh Pitts (Amber) of Ocean Springs, and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 10th from 5 until 7 p.m. at Memory Chapel.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Chapel. Burial will be at Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Wayne County. To sign the online guestbook, visit www.
