Obituary for Mark Samuel “Nick” Harry Mark Samuel “Nick” Harry Born May 27, 1941 departed us unexpectedly on September 22, 2018 of natural causes. Beloved youngest son of the late Aurelie Dumas Harry and John Pierre Harry. Mark was preceded in death by siblings Marjorie M Harry, Dorothy J Harry James, John C Harry.

He is survived by siblings Charles R Harry (Joyce), Lois Ann Harry Blue, Marguerite Harry Estade (Oscar) and Mary Linda Harry Ricard (Leroy). In addition he leaves to cherish his memories nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well a host of other relatives, friends and co-workers at the U.S. Postal Service (Where he was just recently recognized for 50 years of exemplary service). Mark was educated at St. Monica’s Elementary School, St. Augustine High School, and the University of New Orleans.

Mark was blessed with a dry, wry sense of humor as well an expansive catholic humanity. Because of this and many other admirable attributes, he will be sorely missed. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Transfiguration of The Lord, 5621 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans, LA on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 am.

Visitation begins at 9:00 am. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Ave.
