Obituary for Mrs. Martha Henry Nichols Martha Henry Nichols, 71, wife of the late Clarence William Nichols, Jr., of 443 Whitmire Church Road, Tamassee passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Franklin, NC, Mrs. Nichols was the daughter of the late Oliver Raymond and Ruby Carpenter Henry. She was retired as a Lab Tech with Schlumberger and was a member of Cheohee Baptist Church.

Mrs. Nichols is survived by her sons: Joe R. Nichols (Wendy); Keith Nichols (Angela) both of Tamassee; daughters: Teresa N. Peay (Ralph) of Westminster; Alexis V. Nichols; eight grandchildren; brothers: Tim Henry (Rhonda) of Hartwell; Paul Henry of Alabama; sisters: Lucille Blanton (John) of Charleston; Jane McCall (Wallace) of Walhalla; Linda Hopkins; and Louise Phillips (Terry) both of Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 20, 2018, at Cheohee Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Davenport Funeral Home.
