Celebration of Life will be at the Tulare United Methodist Church, Tulare, California on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 10am. There will be a public viewing at Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Service on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 4pm until 7pm.

Mary Beth Starling, 70, Tulare, California passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She was born March 31, 1948 in Springer, New Mexico. She and her siblings were raised in Oklahoma by their mother, Ruth Montoya.

Mary Beth lived her life with a servant’s heart and had a passion for life that was reflected through her hard work effort as a radiological technologist for 40 years. Being a loving spouse and raising her children with remarkable love, care and attention, she and Johnny started their marriage in Lawton, Oklahoma in 1977 while Johnny served as an officer in the Army. They lived in multiple states and overseas in Germany.

After Johnny went into the reserves, he and Mary Beth settled in Tulare from 1985 to present day. She is survived by her husband Johnny Starling of the home, her children, John Starling of Anaheim, California and Christina Mundy of Rocklin, California, grandchildren, Isabella and Jackson Mundy of Rocklin, California, Trenton Starling of Anaheim, California, her brother John Montoya of Edmond, Oklahoma and her sister Teresa Dill of Cookson, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful if donations were made to Valley Children’s Hospital, www.
