Mary’s Obituary Mary E. (Bishop) Slifer 95, formerly of Telford Passed away Tuesday February 12, at Phoebe Richland Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late William Slifer Sr. Born in Blooming Glen Pa. she was a daughter of the late Russell and Jenny (Anders) Bishop.

Mary had worked as a hostess at the Family Heritage Restaurant, for 17 years and as a hostess at the Lutheran Community, Telford, for 8 years. Mrs. Slifer was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Lansdale. She enjoyed spending time with her family, talking and was always open to making new friends.

Mary also enjoyed cooking, gardening and collecting salt and pepper shakers and Hummel figurines. Mary is survived by her Sons; Robert R. and his wife Christel of Tamm Germany, Edward B and his wife Julie of Sellersville. Daughter: Mary Lou Poirier and her husband Michael of Telford.

Mary is also survived by Grandchildren; Christopher, Anthony “Buddy”, Brenda and Carla. Her 6 greatgrandchildren and 4 great-greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Slifer was predeceased by son; William F. Jr. in 1999 Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home,.

33 North Main St. Telford Pa. 18969. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Pleasant Hills Cemetery Pleasant Valley Pa. Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford. www.
