Mar Louis Lough , February 12, 1969 — July 16, 2018

Mary Louise Lough, 69, of Rexroad Drive Weston passed away at 1:25 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 in the comfort of her home with family by her side in the care of WVU Medicine Hospice. She was born in Fort Ord, CA on November 21, 1948 a daughter of the late Joseph Delgado Delgado and Mary Louise Padilla Delgado. On February 12, 1969 she married the love of her life, Charles William “Bill” Lough, who will dearly miss hugging his Babe after 49 years of marriage.

Her fun-loving, supportive nature will be carried on by her two children: Charles William Lough Jr. and wife, Casey, of Roanoke, and Krista Noel Hardman of Weston; four grandchildren who will miss their loving Nana: Charles Bailey Lough, Emilie Louise Lough, Eva Kathryn Lough, and Noah Isaac Hardman; one great granddaughter, Elsie Marie Lough; four siblings: Rosemary Soria and husband, Fred, of Salinas, CA, Josie Avila and husband, Fermin, of Prunedale, CA, Joseph Delgado of Phoenix, AZ, and Cindy Delgado of Salinas, CA; several nieces and nephews; her loyal companions and beloved pets: Toki, Chica, and Gracie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph “Joey” Brent Lough; and her sister, Liz Alvarado. Mary worked as a parent rerdzt/ center coordinator for the Lewis County Board of Education for many years.

With her warm, welcoming presence and embracing approach, she inspired children as a volunteer Sunday School Teacher and Vacation Bible School Teacher at several churches over the years. She was a compassionate and supportive “mother to all” who loved having the house full of music and enjoyed singing with family and friends. She was gifted in abstract drawing, writing poetry, and cooking, with a special place in her heart for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Family and friends will gather at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew from 12 – 2 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. from the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Plum officiating.
