Melvin Earl Dummar Melvin Earl Dummar, beloved Son, Brother, Dad, Grandpa, Friend, a mentor to all, and a Business Owner, was born on August 28th 1944, in Cedar City, Utah to Arnold and Chloe Dummar. Melvin passed away on December 9th 2018 at the age of 74, in Pahrump, Nevada with his loving wife singing sweetly by his side, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Melvin pursued his dream of owning his own business and succeeded in being a prosperous entrepreneur for more than 40 years, and later followed his ambition to be a real estate agent.

Melvin loved spending time with his family and friends in the outdoors, fishing, camping, shooting, rafting and was an avid hunter. He also chased his passion of being a singer- songwriter when he spent time in the Reno, Sahara Casino, as Melvin Dummar and Revival. He would captivate a room with his life stories and always lived his life to the fullest.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Melvin is preceded in death by Parents, Arnold and Chloe Dummar, Brothers; Wallace, Richard, and Jess Dummar, Sisters; MaryEllen and Eva Dummar, Daughter Sherry (Bonneau) Moore. Melvin is survived by his loving Wife of 45 years, Bonnie Dummar, Nevada; Brothers, Ray (Hazel) Dummar, Nevada; Fred (Sharin) Dummar, Alabama; Sisters, Syvella (Jay) Kalil, Washington; Chloe Dummar, Utah; Daughter: Darcy Dummar, Utah; Sons: Ferrin Dummar, Utah; Donalee (Melissa) Bonneau, Utah; Ken (Lea) Bonneau, Utah; and 11 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren 1 Great-Great Grandchild, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. , where viewings will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to the service from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
