Mildred A. “Millie” Lindauer, 88, of Watsontown, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at her home. Born July 26, 1929 in McEwensville, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Ida (Leech) Cromely. She was married to Earl H. Lindauer for 64 years until his death August 21, 2015.

She was a graduate of Watsontown High School and worked at the former Montgomery Mills earlier in life. She and her husband owned and operated Lindauer’s Tavern in Hughesville for many years, and earlier had owned the Muncy Inn. She enjoyed doing jig-saw puzzles and spending time with her family.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Kate Lindauer of Montgomery, and a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John Ravita of Monroe, GA; six grandchildren: Earl Lindauer and his fiance Heather Ferrari; Stanley Lindauer, Jr.; Jaclyn Story and her husband Scott; Stephanie Chalifoux and her husband Sean; and Giana and Matthew Ravita; eight great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Justine Bardole. Preceding her in death besides her husband were two brothers: Luther and Earl Cromley and three sisters: Ruth Battorf, Martha Cashner, and Catherine Dunkle. Friends and family are invited to call from 9 to 11:00 AM Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Doug Schader of Trinity United Church of Christ, Turbotville, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory be made to Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport PA 17701. www.
