Obituary of Mildred Fowler Mildred Elizabeth Fowler, 67, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born on September 9, 1951 in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of Catherine Truitt Marshall LaCurts and the late Llyod Marshall. Mildred was employed at Standard Register in the shipping department for 35 years, until her retirement in May of 2013.

She was a member of Delmarva Evangelistic Church. Most of all, Mildred was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who was loved by many. Mildred is survived by her husband Steven Fowler, two sons, John E. Cropper, Jr. and Kevin L. Cropper and his wife Amy; a daughter, Carol Ann Ward and her husband Charles; two granddaughters, Britney L. Cropper and Kaley P. Cropper; a grandson, Douglas D. Ward and his fiancé Brooke Kovach; two sisters, Sylvia Williams and her husband Arthur and Patricia Cannon; a brother, Kenneth Marshall Sr. and his wife Mae as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Mildred is preceded in death by her step-father, Marion LaCurts. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 11:00 am at Delmarva Evangelistic Church, Inc., Salisbury with Reverend Robert “Buzz” Gregory. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Mildred’s honor to Delmarva Evangelistic Church, Inc., 407 Gordy Rd. , Salisbury, MD 21804.
