Obituary of John Meister John Edward Meister, 92, of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home. “Jack” was born on October 22, 1926 to the late John Edward Mister and Norsie Lavinia Lewis Kram. “Jack” was a US Army Air Force World War II veteran.

He was a member of Nutter’s Golf Course where he enjoyed playing golf until his health declined. He previously played with MISGA for 20 years. He loved fishing and was an avid fan of Big Band music.

“Jack” retired in 1992 as a supervisor in the Model Shop of the Westinghouse Aero Space Division. . “Jack” is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Marilyn Mazurkiewicz Meister; a daughter, Paula Brown (John) of Westminster, MD; two step sons, Bill Santos (Anne) of Columbia, MD, and John Santos of Salisbury; three grandsons,:Joey Santos of Salisbury, Alden Bradstock of Westminister and Matthew Santos; a granddaughter, Olivia Santos; a great granddaughter, Cora Bradstock of Westminister; and several nieces and nephews, including, Andi Harrington (Lee) of PA.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a step son, Stephen Santos and a sister, Kay Phillips. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Rev.
