Our sweet, loving angel of a mother, Myrna Miller Gentry, passed away peacefully September 11, 2018, in Highland, Utah. Born in Hiawatha, UT, February 2, 1934, Myrna grew up in Salt Lake City as the oldest of five children to LeRoy and Mabel Hall Miller. During her adult years, she lived in Ithaca, NY, and the following Utah towns: Provo, Cedar City, North Logan, East Millcreek, South Jordan, and a handful of others.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Leland H. Gentry), brother (Gordon Miller), half-sister (Wanda), daughter (Debra Lynn Cheney), granddaughter (Candice Cheney), grandson (Kevin Gentry), and great-grandson (John Jay Ward), along with an awful lot of well-loved, well-fed dogs. She is survived by her brother, David (Peggy); sisters, Elaine and Sharon; sons, Brian (Tammy) and Steven (Marinda); daughters, Christine Gentry-Nelson (Scott) and Janae Sanders (Mark); 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many loyal friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00am at the Millcreek 15th Ward, 3750 South Hillside Lane.

Friends and family may visit on Friday evening, September 21, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East and on Saturday from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to services at the church.
