Nancy’s Obituary Nancy Lee Barrix, 93 Nancy Lee (Depoy) Barrix, 93, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Barrix was born on September 23, 1925 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Erasmus L. and Lula (Maxwell) Depoy She was a part owner of Miller Barrix Jewelry Store. She spent a lot of time raising her family.

She was a member of Linville Congregational Christian Church. On December 21, 1941. she was married to Raymond Keith Barrix who passed away in 1984.

Surviving are her children, Barry Barrix of Linville, Ray Barrix and wife Sharon of McGaheysville, David Barrix of Green County; grandchildren, Tony Barrix and wife Becky, Cindy Clore and husband Chris, Tina Rolison and husband John, B.W. Barrix Jr., Hollie Clem and husband Shane, Cody Barrix, Zach Barrix and great-grandchildren, Tony Barrix Jr. and wife Stephanie, Heather Barrix, Amber Talbott and husband Colby, Summer Barrix, Chase Barrix, Chase Clem, Camden Clem, Brandon Rolison, Sydney Rolison; five great-great grandchildren and a special niece, Sandra McAvoy and special nephew, Ronnie Kratzer. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Barrix was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyne Kratzer and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Barrix. Pastor Brad Lewis will conduct a memorial service on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Linville Congregational Christian Church.

Burial will follow at Linville Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. The body was cremated.
