Ruth’s Obituary Ruth Virginia (Miller) Morris, 83, of Fulks Run, passed away on Monday March 18, 2019 at Life Care Center of New Market. Mrs. Morris was born on July 30, 1935 and was a daughter of the late Philip Angus and Hannah Catherine (Fadley) Miller. She worked for Wampler Foods for many years prior to her retirement.

On May 20, 1953 she married John Sherman “Tucker” Morris who preceded her in death on August 28, 2016. Ruth is survived by her children, Ronald Morris, Warren Morris, Karen Heerman and husband Keith; a brother, Gary Runion; a sister, Mae Mitchell; four grandchildren, Alicia Shores, Nathan Heerman, Whitney Heerman, Samantha Morris; a great-granddaughter, Hadley Shores; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by siblings, Roy Miller, Harold Lee Runion, Larry Runion, Mabel Fitzwater, Betty Tusing, and Evelyn Runion.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at 2 PM at the Gospel Hill Mennonite Church in Fulks Run with Pastor Dan Horning officiating. Those wishing may share a memory or an online condolence by visiting www. mcmullenfh.com Arrangements entrusted to the McMullen Funeral Home.
