Obituary for Nina May Likens Nina May (Bennett) Likens, 77, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus. Nina was born October 16, 1940 in Freeport, MI to the late Maxell and Carlotta (Kelley) Bennett. For many years, Nina worked for Round the Clock Care, providing care for those in need.

She was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Surviving Nina are four sons, Thomas Henry Likens, III, Daniel Likens, Burt Likens and Andrew Likens; two sisters, Nancy McBrian and Joan Schrenk; three brothers, Val Bennett, Jerry Bennett and Max (Sandy) Bennett and one granddaughter, Meredith Reenee Likens. In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Ritter.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Pierre Funeral Home, Elder Rhonda Marshall officiating. Burial will be held in the Clarksville Cemetery in Lake Odessa, MI at a later date. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday; from 1:00 until 5:00 PM on Saturday and from 11:00 AM until service time on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
