Obituary for John W. Crosser John William Crosser, 72, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. John was born June 20, 1946 in Evansville to the late John Wade and Edna Marie (Labhart) Crosser. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had worked as a deputy sheriff for the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department.

Surviving John are his wife of 50 years, Judith Ann (Wyer) Crosser; a daughter, Cheryl (Jeff) Roeder and son, John Wade Crosser, all of Evansville; two sisters, Bonnie (Ed) Roberts and Toni Kolbe; grandchildren, Grant and Drake Muller, Conner, Cameron and Cara Crosser, Bailey Balbach and Zach Roeder and a great grandchild, Andrew Balbach. Funeral services for John will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Pierre Funeral Home, Pastor Ray Austin officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM until service time on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
