Mrs. Nona Jo Spivey Roberts, 64, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at University Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Roberts was born July 2, 1954 in Dublin, Ga. to James Andrew Spivey and Winona Beacham Spivey.

She was preceded in death by her mother. Mrs. Roberts was retired from Husqvarna with 40 plus years. She was a homemaker, youth Sunday School Teacher, and she enjoyed reading.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints for 27 years. Survivors include her husband, Seaborn Roberts of Swainsboro; father, James Andrew Spivey (Betty) of East Dublin; sons, Drew Roberts (Barbara Jean) of Grovetown, Matthew Roberts, and James Roberts (Bridgette) both of Swainsboro; brothers, Sonny Spivey (Leigh Ann) of East Dublin, and Owen Spivey (Shela) of Rockledge; sister, Sue Ansley (Joe) of Huntsville, AL. ; grandchildren, Abigayle Roberts, Journey Roberts, Sophie Roberts, Brodie Roberts, Joshua Roberts, Rachel Roberts, and River Roberts; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018 with President Ryan Sconyers and Brother John Smoyer, Jr. Presiding. Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
