Obituary for Orville Ray Taylor Orville “Taylor” Ray Taylor, 85, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He was born July 15, 1933 to Jonathan E. and Bessie Inez (Deselm) Taylor in rural Stafford County. On June 1, 1954, he married Billie Rea (Lousignont) Taylor in Stafford.

She survives. Taylor was a member of the United States Army and was in Korea for a year during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stafford.

He enjoyed hunting, woodworking and collecting items. He is survived by his wife, Billie; children, Lionel (Polly) Taylor of Iuka, Jonathan (Goldie) Taylor of Albert and Diane (Bill) Rea of Pratt; brother, Doyle Taylor of Stafford; 8 grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Taylor, Jeremy (Merri) Taylor, Brooke (Justin) McGuire, Breann (Jonathan) Caldwell, Drew Taylor, Gage Taylor, Parker Rea and Kaley Rea; 12 great grandchildren, Madison Howell, Kaitlyn, Alexandria and Elizabeth Taylor, Tamara, Aiden and Jonathan Taylor, Myles Binger, Paislee Parker, Marlee and Kizer McGuire and Korbjn Baus; and great great granddaughter, Alaina Varney. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth and Alfred Taylor; and sisters, Esther Bullard, Violet Stone, Dorothy Hargadine and Opal Henry.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the book Thursday and Friday 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Memorial Service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Larrison Mortuary with Pastor Mike McGovney presiding.

Memorials may be made to Lemon Park Lights in care of Larrison Mortuary.
