Obituary for Pamela Pinkerton Pamela Pinkerton, 58, of Marion passed away at 6:58 a.m., Sunday, February 25, 2018 at her residence. Pam was born October 27, 1959 in Carbondale to Lester Otto & Travles Delores (Mowery) Murray. She was raised by Tim and Sue Hester who loved her as their very own.

Pam was employed as a secretary for Direct Motor Freight in Marion before her health began to fail. She also was a dispatcher for Freedom Trucking in West Frankfort. She was also a sales representative for Everlite Trailer for several years.

Pam was a member of the Pittsburg Freewill Baptist Church. She loved to cook and bake. She loved to spend time outdoors as she loved photograph nature.

She was also very crafty and loved to work with power tools on various projects. She loved her family and enjoyed every ounce of time she could spend with them and her German Shepherd puppies. Pam is survived by her companion, Dwight Pollard of Marion; son, Josh Brotherton and wife Ali of Marion; two grandchildren, Axson and Teagan Brotherton; parents, Tim & Sue Hester of Oakridge, Oregon; three brothers, Gene Murray, Art Murray and George Lund; sister, Doris Sorenson.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Carney. Celebration of life services will be 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev.

Ivan Ryan officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements.
