Obituary for Patricia Ann Eagloski Patricia Ann (Crandall) Eagloski, 65, peacefully passed away May 22nd, 2018 with her family by her side at her home in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Pat was born March 17th, 1953 in Iron River, Michigan, the daughter of the late Emery and Mary (Holzberger) Crandall. She was often called “Patsy” by many of her friends and family.

She resided in Beechwood, Michigan and attended West Iron County Public Schools where she met the love of her life, Bruce Eagloski. Bruce and Pat were married January 18th, 1975 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River, and together they celebrated 43 wonderful years of marriage, raising three beautiful daughters, Jaime, Sara and Kimberly. Throughout her life, Pat taught and instilled in her children the importance of selfless love for others faith in God and family.

Pat graduated from high school in 1971 and went on to receive an Associate Degree in nursing from Northern Michigan University. Thereafter, she worked as an LPN for Dickinson County Hospital. Pat retired from nursing to start a family and be a stay at home mom.

In 1985, Pat and her family moved to the Deer Lake Subdivision in Breitung Township where she and Bruce have resided ever since. It was there that Pat became the neighborhood nanny. This role came naturally to her and she truly loved helping to raise the neighborhood children.

She formed lasting bonds with them and their parents. After her daughters had all left home, Pat and Bruce purchased and operated Miller Floral in Kingsford. For 17 years, Pat was the smiling face of the business, where she and Bruce worked countless hours side by side to serve the needs of the community.

The word that best describes Pat is selfless. She devoted every day of her life to God, her family and friends above all else. She was a gracious host – especially around Christmas when she would shower her kids and grandkids with presents and treats – and always more than happy to help anyone in any way she could.

Family was the center of Pat’s world as she was always there for them and will continue to be in spirit. Pat’s example will not be forgotten. It has and will guide the lives of her children and grandchildren forever.

Pat is survived by her husband of 43 wonderful years, Bruce Eagloski; three daughters: Jaime (Dan) Paternoster of Iron Mountain, Sara Eagloski of Iron Mountain, and Kimberly (John) Bjork of Chicago, Illinois; four grandchildren: Addison Paternoster, Benjamin Borkowski, Jane Bjork and Penelope Bjork (coming in June 2018); brother Jerome (Karen) Crandall; and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Emery and Mary Crandall, her brother Gary, and her father and mother in-law, Vincent and Clara Jane Eagloski, and other loved ones who made her part of their family. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.

Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford. Fr. Joseph Gouin will offer the Mass of Christian Burial.

Burial will be at Iron Mountain Cemetery Park. Pat and her family would like to give a special thanks to Father Joe Gouin. Pat loved to listen to his homilies and stories, and his words to Pat when he visited provided great comfort in her time of need.

They would also like to thank Dr. Gustavo Morel and all of his staff, the ICU staff at Dickinson County Healthcare System and the staff of Dickinson Home Health, for their wonderful and compassionate care for Pat. Thank you to the family, friends and neighbors of Pat who have helped us through this difficult time and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
