Obituary for Paul Edwin Turnpaugh Paul Edwin Turnpaugh, 70, of Braggs, Oklahoma passed away Monday, October 8, 2018. He was born June 19, 1948 in Box, Oklahoma to Cecil and Tura Turnpaugh. He attended public schools and graduated from Wanette High School in 1966.

He married Alene Kirk on October 22, 1971 in Roff, Oklahoma. They shared many years of life and marriage together. Paul worked as a machine operator for many years at Acme Engineering.

He retired in December of 2015 after 25 years of service. He will always be remembered as an outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was proud to be a member of the NRA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Ruth Jones and Scott Turnpaugh. Paul is survived by his wife, Alene, of the home; children, Paul Turnpaugh and wife Kandee of Sulphur Rock, AR, Tura Sandt and husband Jason of Richmond Hill, GA, and Erica Vinson and husband Nathan of Kiefer, OK; bonus child, Samantha King of Braggs, OK; grandchildren, Jaylee Reeder, Logan Duggar, Landon Duggar, Ledger Conley, Jasper Vinson, Khloe Vinson, Ryan Isbell, Tyler Sandt, and Carter Sandt; siblings, Wanda Kersey, Joan Lambdin, Jimmy Turnpaugh, and Kaye Cryer; along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30pm, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.

Funeral services celebrating Paul’s life will be 10AM, Friday, October 12, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Terrell Cameron Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at South Bethel Cemetery in Braggs with Nathan Vinson, Steven Kirk, Jason Sandt, Richard Kirk, Dylan Kirk, and Danny Cheramie serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Ward, Chub Cunningham, and Jim Cameron.
