Obituary for Margaret Mary “Maggie” Dunn Margaret Mary “Maggie” Dunn, 73, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Monday, October 8, 2018. She was born May 8, 1945 in Adelaide, South Australia to Edward McGovern and Ruby (Harvey) McGovern. Maggie married the love of her life and best friend, Timothy O’Dell Dunn on May 10th, 2003 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

They shared more than 15 years of life and marriage together. She loved listening to all kinds of music, especially John Denver. Maggie will always be remembered as loving nature, all things wild, and gardening.

She also loved her dog Casey, taking road trips and spending time with her family. Maggie was a faithful member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving her Lord. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruby McGovern. Maggie is survived by her loving husband, Tim, of the home; children, Donna Carroll and partner Ian Wright of Elizabeth North, South Australia, Jim Carroll and partner Karen Reiman of Elizabeth Park, South Australia; stepdaughter, Samantha Luscombe and husband Justin of Magnolia, TX; 9 granddaughters; 5 grandsons; 5 great-grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Kelvin “Joe” McGovern of Munnopara, South Australia; sister, Kathy Lawrence & husband Frank of Salisbury, South Australia; along with many other family members and friends. A memorial service celebrating Maggie’s life will be at 2PM, Friday October 12, 2018 at Eastern Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Darren Wallace officiating.
