Obituary of Pauline Carlson Pauline Edna Carlson, 90, of Methodist Gardens in Falconer, formerly of 135 Thayer St., Jamestown passed away Thursday (September 27, 2018) in the Lutheran Home. She was born December 30, 1927 in DuBois, PA, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen King Ross. Pauline was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church and Century Club for the American Red Cross. She enjoyed word searches, cooking and baking. Pauline will be remembered as a devoted Christian and was very generous in giving to missionary work around the world.

Surviving are six children: Karen Carlson of Jamestown, Sharon (Willy) Muchler of Penn Yan, NY, Barbara (Greg) Smith of North East, PA, Janet (Scott) Tennies of Pittsburgh, PA, John R. (Roxanne) Carlson of Gerry, NY, Julie (Mark) Panaggio of Jacksonville, NC; ten grandchildren: Kami (David) Byrns, Adam (Paola) Wolfe, Aaron (Julie) Wolfe, Graysya (Justin) Redenbach, Ashley Bush, Christopher Tennies, Amanda (Bryan) Bosse, Andrea (John) Gonzalez, Nicole (Jon) Edwards and Natalie Panaggio; nine great-grandchildren: Alex and Mason Gonzalez, Brandon, Austin and Tyler Wolfe, Delaney Byrns, Paige Redenbach, James Hollis Edwards and Aaden Jackson Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Carlson whom she married October 10, 1948 in DuBois, PA, who died September 24, 1999; a brother Rev. Harry A. Ross and a sister Joan Fisher.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne H. Eppehimer of Christian Missionary Alliance Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received by the family from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be donated to Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 1011 West Third St., Jamestown, NY 14701.
