Obituary of Verlah Daley Verlah Jean Daley, 93, of Hyde Park, Panama, NY went home to be with the Lord peacefully on October 19, 2018. She was born on April 30, 1925 in Lakewood, NY, The daughter of the late Edgbert and Myrtle Thompson Daley. “Ma” as she was lovingly called by everyone who knew her, loved going to Bingo every Sunday, being outdoors on her back porch enjoying the sun and nature and especially spending time with her family and serving the Lord every day.

She always had a kind word for everyone and went out of her way to help and be there for anyone in need. She was a loving and wonderful mother and grandma and will be sadly missed by all of her family and those who knew her. Verlah is survived by her daughters, Linda (Virgil) Martin of Panama, Beverly (Jeff) Johnson of Kiantone, NY, Cynthia (Bob) Hasson of North Carolina, and two sons, Gary (Sue) Cornell of Jamestown, NY and Dennis (Sandy) Cornell of Ashville, NY and by many grandchildren, great grand children and her loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father and mother, her daughter Sandy Woodard and a grandson Alan Woodard, a sister Irene Baker and a brother Wilman Daley. Friends and family will have a Memorial Service at Jamestown Community Chapel with the Dr. Douglas W. Penhollow officiating, on Wednesday October 24, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. Arrangements are being handled by Falconer Funeral Home Inc.
