Obituary of Irene Rizzo Irene Rossetti Rizzo, 85, of Falconer passed away Saturday (November 3, 2018) in her home, surrounded by family. A lifelong area resident she was born August 26, 1933 in Falconer, NY, the daughter of Ceasare and Mary Chiabaudo Rossetti. Irene attended Falconer High School and was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church.

She was a dedicated homemaker and avid crafter. Surviving are two sons: David (Cathy) Rizzo, Paul (Patti) Rizzo of Jamestown; a daughter Rosanne (Dan) Keddie of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren: Megan Keddie Rineman(Patrick) of Charlotte, NC, Leslie Keddie of Seattle, WA, Michael Rizzo (KeriAnn Stines) of Charlotte, NC , Shaun Rizzo of Jamestown, Jonathan Caprino of Highlands Ranch, CO,Justin (Stephanie) Caprino of Jamestown; three great grandchildren: Alexis, Dominick and Bryson Rizzo and a sister Germina Castiglione of Hickory, NC. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Rizzo whom she married June 30, 1956, who died May 19, 2016; three brothers: Louis, Blaise and Alfred Rossetti; two sisters Nilda Willett and Emma Mazzone The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Falconer Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends will be received by the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

The Altar and Rosary Society of OLL will conduct a rosary service at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be donated to the Falconer Public Library, 101 W. Main St., Falconer, NY 14733, St. Vincent DePaul Society of OLL, 309 W. Everett St., Falconer, NY 14733 or Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave. , Lakewood, NY 14750.
