Obituary of Ronald Powell Ronald A. Powell Ronald A. Powell, 75, of Kennedy passed away unexpectedly Sunday (January 20, 2019) in his home. He was born June 15, 1943 in Jamestown the son of the late Roger and Jennie Bateau Powell. Ronald was a 1963 graduate of Falconer High School and served his country in the United States Airforce.

Prior to retirement Ronald was employed by Jamestown Container as truck driver. Ronald was an active volunteer firemen for the Kennedy Fire Department, he was an active Ingjald Lodge # 65, Independent Order of Vikings, and loved the sport of car racing. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Pangborn) Powell whom he married June 15, 1968 in Jamestown; a daughter Tammy (Michael) Clark of Kennedy, NY; two grandchildren: Taylor and Sarah Clark of Kennedy; one great grandchild Leilani Sercu of Kennedy; a sister Donna (Paul) Wood of Schenectady, NY.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Mariann Holley. The funeral will be at 11a.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev.

Walter Venman pastor Clarks Corners Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery, Clarks Corners, Kennedy, NY. Friends will be received by the family from 6 pm to 8 pm Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home.
