Obituary of Wendy Delvalle Wendy Jo Wickstrom Delvalle, 51, of Falconer passed away Saturday (December 22, 2018) in Absolut of Salamanca after a courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong area resident she was born December 18, 1967 in Jamestown, the daughter of Dennis C. and Bonnie Kent Wickstrom. Wendy was a graduate of Falconer High School and had been employed by Burger King, Sugar Creek, Wendy’s and Flowers by Denny.

She currently was employed by CVS Pharmacy in Falconer. She was a member of the Falconer Fire Department Auxiliary, Randolph Garden Club, had bowled in league at Frewsburg Lanes and was an avid Jeff Gordon NASCAR fan and Buffalo Bills fan. She also enjoyed attending school sporting events.

Surviving is her mother Bonnie Wickstrom of Falconer; her husband Oscar Delvalle of Falconer; her son Cameron Delvalle of Falconer; two brothers: Kevin (Tracy) Wickstrom of Jamestown, TN; Karl Wickstrom of Louisville, KY; a niece Amanda Wickstrom; a great niece Erika Bryant, a great nephew Alan Wickstrom and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Dennis C. Wickstrom who died February 19, 2003; her maternal grandparents Elwyn and Anita Kent and her paternal grandparents Elmer and Violet Wickstrom. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home.

Rev. Walter Venman pastor of Clarks Corners Community Church will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Falconer Public Library, 101 W. Main St., Falconer, NY 14733; Falconer Volunteer Fire Department, Falconer, NY 14733 or a charity of one’s choice.
