Obituary of Edward Sealy Edward J. “Tiny” Sealy, 78, of Jamestown passed away Friday (December 28, 2018) in his home. He was born January 26, 1940 in Bradford, PA, the son of the late Arthur Sealy and Elizabeth Miketish. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1958 to 1962.

In earlier years he was employed by Automatic Voting Machine and prior to retirement he was employed by MRC-SKF retiring in 2004. Ed was a three-time member of the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame. He specialized in Jujitsu and Indonesian Kun Tao.

He was a Grand Master and a martial arts instructor. Ed was a member of the Jamestown Eagles and he was one of the founding members of the Chautauqua Boxing Association. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, especially Texas Hold’em.

Surviving are his wife Nancy K. Linderholm Sealy whom he married March 7, 1964; six children: Timothy (Tracy) Garvey of Twinsburg, OH, Dennis (Kimberly) Sealy of Erie, PA, Denise (Mickey) Sealy of St. Petersburg, FL, David Sealy of Lakewood, Arthur Sealy of Jamestown, and Julie (William) Burch of Holley, NY; an adoptive son Brian Barone; 11 grandchildren: Danielle, Nicole, Pam, Zach, Toni, Kevin, T. Gage, Kassy, Zoe, Kira, and Kyle; 9 great grandchildren; a brother John (Lisa) Karash of Jamestown; a sister Joyce Wilder of Jamestown; nephews: Joey Karash and Ricky Karash. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Sealy. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 1st in the Falconer Funeral Home.
