Obituary of Milton Coons Milton H. Coons, 69, of Jamestown passed away Tuesday (September 18, 2018) in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A lifelong area resident he was born November 27, 1948 in Corry, PA, the son of the late Albert “Hum” and Lucy Willover Coons. Milton was a graduate of Corry High School and was employed by Vac Air in Frewsburg.

He was a member of the War Vets Recreation, and the Jamestown Loyal Order of Moose. Milton loved a good cup of coffee, playing the lottery, Dirt track and NASCAR racing, the Buffalo Bills, Country western music, walking, and he loved his family. Surviving are his son; Mark (Rebecca) Coons of Woodstock, GA; a daughter Monica (Daniel) Dettmar-Clark of Acworth, GA, step daughters: Darien Holt, Dawn Bonora, Danyel Johnson, eight grandchildren: TJ Clark, CJ (Neyomi) Dettmar, Robert (Avi) Dettmar, Jordyn Clark, Samantha Coons, Emily Coons, Barry (Cassidy) Herrin, Jordan (Hannah) Herrin, Hannah Clark; seven great grandchildren; a brother Donald Coons of Florida, four sisters: Mary (Tom) Jackson of Corry, PA, Violet Zelinski of Corry, PA, Sally Fungaroli of Florida, Rose (George) Bauer of Corry, PA; many great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother George Coons, a sister Betty Jane Coons, and his companion Beverly Moller. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral home. Rev.

Don Ray will officiate the service. Friends may call from 12 p.m. to 2 pm. Thursday in the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the War Vets Recreation 3431 Fluvanna Ave. Jamestown NY, 14701 and the Jamestown Loyal Order of Moose 405 E.5th St. Jamestown, NY 14701.
